Use this guide to create Inform reports to substantiate converted records for customers, vendors and products.

Run reports substantiating converted balances
- Produce an Accounts Receivable Aging Report to produce a record of the converted customer balances.
This report will also be saved on the DDI server at D > IBM > ACCOUNTS > DDI > PRINT.FILES > AR GO-LIVE.
- Go to Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Aging Report.
- Click Detail and leave all other fields at the default setting.
- Click Run.
- The Print Document window will appear. To export the report to Excel choose Save.
- Inform will proceed to your Windows environment. Choose a file location and name and save as .xls or .xlsx.
The completed report is sorted by customer name and open invoice number.
- Produce an Accounts Payable Aging Report to produce a record of the converted vendor balances.
This report will also be saved on the DDI server at D > IBM > ACCOUNTS > DDI > PRINT.FILES > AP GO-LIVE.
- Go to Accounting > Accounts Payable > Aging Report.
- Click Detail and leave all other fields at the default setting.
- Click Run.
- The Print Document window will appear. To export the report to Excel click Save.
- Inform will proceed to your Windows environment. Choose a file location and name and save as .xls or .xlsx.
The completed report is sorted by vendor name and open invoice number.
- Produce an Inventory Value Report to validate converted stock items.
This report will also be saved on the DDI server at D > IBM > ACCOUNTS > DDI > PRINT.FILES > INV VAL GO-LIVE.
- Go to Inventory > Inventory Value Report.
- The Product Selection Criteria window will appear. This is useful for filtering the request for a specific category of items and sorting the output.
- Click OK to bypass the criteria and choose all records.
- A message will ask whether you want to report on all products. Click Yes.
- The Inventory Value Report window will appear. Fill out the following requirements.
- Warehouse: Leave blank to choose all warehouses. See footnote below about Drop Ship Warehouse Value.
- Cost Column: The displayed value is your inventory G/L costing method.
- Detail or Summary: Choose Detail.
- Product Line Page Break: Leave unchecked.
- Include Negative Inventory: Choose Yes.
- The remaining items may be left blank.
- Click Run.
- The Print Document window will appear. To export the report to Excel click Save.
- Inform will proceed to your Windows environment. Choose a file location and name and save as .xls or .xlsx.
The completed report lists every on hand item with a column for each warehouse and a total column.
- *Go to File > Company > Master > Pricing and Costing > Include Drop Ship Warehouse in Inventory Value for All Warehouses to enable this setting. The monthly export will include a Drop Ship Column.
- Produce an Accounts Receivable Aging Report to produce a record of the converted customer balances.

Create customer and vendor listings to verify key fields
- Produce a Customer Master Report to produce a record of key fields.
- Go to File > Customer > Master > Report.
- The Customer Selection Criteria window will appear. This is useful for filtering the request for a specific category of customers and sorting the output. The default filter excludes prospects. If this field is clicked a system prompt will ask whether to choose all customers. Choose OK to bypass the criteria.
- The Field Selection window will appear. Build the report by dragging fields from Available Fields on the left to Print Order on the right. The Filter icon may be used to search for a particular field.
- Click OK and the Print Document window will appear.
- Click Save to convert the content into Excel format.
- Produce a Vendor Master Report to produce a record of key fields.
- Go to File > Vendor > Master > Report.
- The Vendor Selection Criteria window will appear. This is useful for filtering the request for a specific category of customers and sorting the output. A system prompt will ask whether to choose all vendors. Click OK to bypass the criteria.
- The Field Selection window will appear. Build the report by dragging fields from Available Fields on the left to Print Order on the right. The Filter icon may be used to search for a particular field.
- Click OK and the Print Document window will appear.
- Choose Save to convert the content into Excel format.
- Produce a Customer Master Report to produce a record of key fields.

Validate Accounting Records
- Produce a G/L Account Report to produce a record of converted accounts.
- Go to Accounting > General Ledger > G/L Account.
- The G/L Account Master window will appear. Click the Report button to create a custom list.
- The Field Selection window will appear. Build the report by dragging fields from Available Fields on the left to Print Order on the right.
- Click OK and the Print Document window will appear.
- Click Save to convert the content into Excel format.
- Content may also be exported to a pdf document by changing the file type to Portable Document Format.
- Produce a G/L Account Report to produce a record of converted accounts.
