Change product pricing from the order pad

You can change the price of individual or groups of products from the customer's Order Pad. These changes affect the selected customer and product(s) only. To change a price for all customers, a group of customers, or a group of products, see Manually change a product price or Change a price by formula.

You can apply your changes immediately, or set a future effective date; however, you cannot set a price expiration date from the Order Pad.

Change an individual product price:

1. Go to Sales>Customer Order Pad.
2. Double-click on the product that you would like to hide.
3. On the Order Pad Detail pop-up that appears, click the Adjusted Price button.

   

4. In the Adj Price box on the Adjusted Price Change pop-up that appears, type the new price.
5. From the Eff Date calendar, leave the current date to apply the change immediately, or change it to a future date when you want to start using this price.
6. Click OK. The price appears under Adjusted on the Order Pad Detail.

   

7. Click Save.

Change prices for a group of products:

1. Go to Sales>Customer Order Pad.
2. Group your products in the manner that you want to apply the price change: Product Line, Primary Vendor, or 24 Month #Hits. See View customer order history
3. Double-click on the Current Price of any product.
4. On the Order Pad Detail pop-up that appears, click the Adjusted Price button.

   

5. On the Adjusted Price Change pop-up, select the Apply To All Items check box.
6. In the Percentage Increase box, type the percent by which you want to adjust the price: positive for increases and negative to decreases.
7. Click OK.
8. When you return to the Order Pad Detail pop-up, click Save.

   The price change applies to all products in the group you selected.

Clear adjusted prices for a group of products

1. Go to Sales>Customer Order Pad.
2. Group your products in the manner that you want to clear the price change: Product Line, Primary Vendor, or 24 Month #Hits. See View customer order history
3. Double-click on the Current Price of any product.
4. On the Order Pad Detail pop-up that appears, click the Adjusted Price button.

   

5. On the Adjusted Price Change pop-up, select the Apply To All Items check box.
6. Select the Clear Adjusted Prices check box.
7. Click OK.
8. When you return to the Order Pad Detail pop-up, click Save.

   The price change applies to all products in the group you selected.
