Add bin locations to a warehouse

You can add bin locations to a warehouse, and then assign products to those bins. See Specify bin locations for a product.

Note
If you are using Inform's WMS or Distribution Center, you have additional Bin options. See the documentation accompanying those components.

To add a bin to a warehouse

1. Go to Warehouse > Bin Locations.
2. Click New.

   

3. In the Warehouse box, click and choose the warehouse to which you want to add a bin.
4. In the Bin Location box, type an alphanumeric name for the bin you are adding.
5. In the Description box, type a few more details about the bin.
6. Click Save.

You can now Specify bin locations for a product.
